It spreads like Flu: To decrease catching respiratory viruses (COVID-19, the Flu, a cold) during an outbreak, a person can avoid crowds or can wear a mask in crowded areas where sick and well people mix. Face masks work by blocking most of the airborne particles, by constantly reminding you to think about health safety, and by acting as your sleeve when you cough or sneeze (so you don't have to look for your sleeve).

Self quarantine : Is probably best, limiting to a minimum social interaction, crowded places. Wearing a mask may also reduce the risk of getting contaminated.

Prevention: Wash hands often with warm water & soap for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth unless hands have just been washed. Use a face covering or mask when in public. Practice social distancing – stay at least 6 feet from others (outside of family). Stay away from crowds. Stay home as much as possible.
