A member asked:

If buckling trauma was experienced during sex, and constant pain is present even 7 days after, but never had swelling or bruising, and still able to hold an erection (albeit with pain), is this a penile fracture or will it get better in time?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Urologist can check: A penis that got hurt but shows no change in shape, size, or color probably doesn't have a "fracture." However, one's primary care doctor can examine, or a urologist can examine, to see if there is anything to worry about. A person can explain to his doctor(s) what happened, as "buckling trauma" needs explanation so doctors can understand the direction and forces of injury.
