Pre-ovulation: intercourse, seems to work better, if the ovulation day and cycles are regular. On a 28 day cycle, ovulation should occur on day 14, intercourse on days 10, 12, and 14 should be most successful. Position does not seem to matter, although some patients, like the missionary position, and try to recline for many minutes to keep the sperm in the vagina. See your doctor if irregular cycles.
