Chlamydia: Chlamydia usually causes no symptoms in women, until complications develop. And those complications can be serious, especially pelvic inflammatory disease and infertility. You definitely need testing, and standard practice in this situation is to treat for presumed chlamydia without waiting for the test result. Also get tested for ohter common STDs (gonorrhea, syphilis, HIV). Good luck.
