A member asked:

I'm having bad abdominal pain which is very uncomfortable. i'm not pregnant or due on my period. im struggling to pass stools and finding im only pooping little amounts. i keep having waves of nausea.. what could this mean?

Constipation ?'s: Constipation such as described is most commonly due to inadequate liquid intake. For more immediate relief, phospho-soda liquid, castor oil or other proprietary products are available over the counter. Ask your pharmacist for a recommendation. Nausea is common in some instances, but if pregnancy is possible, and/or your period is delayed, obtain a serum HCG test to be certain.
