I have a lump in my throat that is very painful, my throat is so sore and i have fevers up and down. i struggle to swallow and it feels like the lump is pushing against my airway. its been like this for almost three weeks.

Time to see doc: Your symptoms are highly suggestive of an infectious process and treatment needs to be instituted promptly. If you have a GP, best would be to ask for their input, but otherwise an urgent care type of facility will be advisable.
