Nexplanon inplant ?: Nexplanon is a progesterone analog, and can interfere unpredictably with ovulation, which will delay a normal post-ovulatory period. Persistent bleeding "for five weeks" is not generally associated with Nexplanon inserts, do if pregnancy is possible, obtain a serum HCG test to be certain. Then see a gyn physician for an exam.
