my 12yr old son has pimple like stuff on his arm for a year now. they look dry, have no pus, are not growing or drying out & they are not itchy. i took him to a gp & he referred him to a dermatologist for molluscum contagiosum, should i go?

Must be diagnosed : It is a viral condition, lasts few months as pink raised spots like chicken pox lesions. But these are self healing in a few months. Rarely treatment is needed by excision or scraping of lesions.
