Little or no risk: Because this is such a new problem, we don't yet have all the answers about transmission. However, all known coronaviruses (there are several) are very sensitive to drying and standard cleaning methods, and it is very unlikely that SARS-CoV-2 (the official name of the new virus that causes COVID-19) could survive on the toys.

COVID 19: The virus lives on different surfaces for different lengths of time. But by the time the toys made there way from China to the West Coast - any virus that could potentially have been on a surface would likely have died before arrival.
