What is the frequency of hepatitis after a blood transfusion in the us?

Very Unlikely: Our blood supply has been carefully screening fro hepatitis c since 1992, and HIV and hepatitis b before that. It is extremely unlikely that anyone will develop an infection from these viruses after blood transfusion in the us.
