I had vaginal spotting jan 13-16, bleeding jan 17-feb 1, spotting feb 2-3, bleeding feb 4, nothing feb 5-7, spotting feb 8-17, bleeding feb 18-22 and 2 negative pregnancy tests, spotting feb 23-24, and am bleeding again (feb 25). what is going on?

Irregular bleeding ?: Bleeding as described at age 22 may indicate pregnancy outside the womb (ectopic). Since the levels of pregnancy hormone (HCG) are low with pregnancies outside the uterus, home pregnancy tests may not detect this. Obtain a serum HCG test to be certain, and see your gyn physician for other testing (ultrasound ) to find the cause.
