Possibilities: Such an isolated problem can be labeled a "tic" which can be transient. Some speculate it is from a prior viral infection that short circuits a nerve supplying the eyelid muscle.It may be transient, fading within 6 mo. It can also be permanent and a side effect of some medications. Discuss it with your doc.
