About timing...: About 14 days before the expected start of the upcoming period, she is likely to ovulate. It can vary from woman to woman, as people are not identical. Of course, no matter what sort of home tracking a woman does, she cannot possibly know exactly when she ovulates nor when the egg is no longer fertile. There is no alarm signal when the eggs pops out of her follicle, and no signal when eggs "die."
