Doctor can examine: A normal healthy vagina should have no foul odor. There may be an imbalance in the normal acidity (pH) and the normal colonizing bacteria inside the vagina, perhaps even some overgrowth of yeast. If one has had sex, there can be more varieties of infectious problems that an exam and some lab tests can help figure out. Unfortunately, correcting vaginal pH and flora may not be an easy thing to do.
