HIV testing: If the infected person's HIV is well controlled by ARVs (i.e., if virus is undetectable or low level in his or her blood), you are not at risk: successful treatment makes a person 100% non-infectious. So discuss it with your partner; you may not need testing at all. If ARVs haven't been that effective or if uncertain, RNA test is 95% conclusive at 2 weeks, plus antibody test at 4-6 weeks for 100%
