Curious why or how i would have a 25.6 bmi as i am 5'7 132 -- work out 5 days a week. is there something in my bloodwork that would indicate i am slightly high body mass index?

Basics: THE BMI is a population study index that has little value in judging an individuals health. It is basically the mass (weight) of a person relative to their height. It assumes all people have the same bone structure/muscle & fat mass for the index. Since all those factors vary I consider it of little value. Mr Olympia would have a body mass index considered too high based on weight/height.

Body mass index: BMI is based entirely on height, weight and sex, not affected by blood chemistries or other blood tests. According to one standard BMI calculator, your actually is 21, not 25.6.
