Some basics: Some reports cite a delay in returning to baseline fertility after removal of hormonal implants. Add that to the average wait for a desired pregnancy of 6 mo (range wks-1 yr) & some delay is common. After a year of trying without success you may want to have both parents assessed at a fertility center. They can find/fix issues or provide you with alternatives to conceive.
