I wouldn't bother: Studies in the US have shown little benefit to any OTC cough/cold preparations in kids under 6 beyond giving you something to do. A teaspoon of honey with lemon juice provides benefit to the cough. Good nutrition, fluids & rest are the best therapy for such a kid.
