I've been having trouble swallowing food at dinner time only for a couple weeks. sometimes i choke on my own spit and have to use my inhaler (for asthma)i can swallow everything fine during the day. no heartburn/reflux. willask ent soon. ideas?

Speech and Swallow: Please ask your PCP for an evaluation also with speech and swallow specialists. Your PCP may also like to order a barium swallow test. Autoimmune disease is one possible cause or a lodged foreign body. Monitor for fever, and please have an evaluation soon.
