My 17 months baby has sores like cigarette burns on his shoulder, hand and next to the eye. what causes them and what can i use to treat them?

Possibilities: The possibilities include various infections like impetigo that will require prescription medication. There are other options, I have seen chickenpox look this way too, but with impetigo on top of the cpx.
