I have had liletta iud for 3 years (out of 5 total that its supposed to last) and suddenly got brown discharge with no cramping???

Can give Dr. a call: Doctor may want to check for a medical issue if a woman has bothersome persistent menstrual-related symptoms. Many women have some variation of their vaginal discharge, or of their periods, or have spotting, or miss a period on occasion (due to changes in hormones). If symptoms are persistent, recurrent, or worrisome, an Ob-Gyn doctor appointment may be a good idea.
