Ive been on depo since august 2019 and ive been getting my period for longer and sooner than normal. i was advised recently by my gp to get the pill in conjunction with the shot but the nurse advised its not necessary it will regulate. please help?

Some basics: The pill was originally studied/created to handle irregular menses or other disorders of menstrual flow. The BC was a side effect that became its most common use. You need to decide whether to take the advice of a trained physician who knows all the issues or the opinion of a lesser trained nurse. Your call.
