A member asked:

Is 2019-ncov also an std? are there any reports of people catching it through sex with a stranger, meaning no prolonged exposure other than sex?

No, it is not an STD: However, if someone has Coronavirus and is close enough to another person to have sex, they are close enough to spread the virus through respiratory droplets, by coughing, sneezing, contaminated hands (touching their own mucous) and spreading that mucous to someone else who then touches their own mouth or nose and then the virus can be spread to them.
