A member asked:

In addition to a mask, should a person wear glasses (regular, sun, or safety glasses) so coronavirus coughs or sneezes won't fly onto his eyeballs?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Likely unnecessary: Face masks are a cultural requirement in the orient for anyone with upper airway symptoms. It is taboo not to wear them in public when sick. The visual suggests that helps but the data we have suggests frequent hand washing and keeping a distance from sick people is the best protection. The simple mask thing is likely worthless with this virus.
