Bradycardia. : It's common to have a slow heart rate at night. A heart rate below 60 is not normal based on looking at the entire population. But for some heart rates from 40-60 is normal for them. Laying on the left side can cause pressure changes in the heart and lung which could cause changes in heart rate. The answer to your concerns is best answered by seeing your doctor in person
