A member asked:

If my heart rate only on some nights goes to 50-59 while laying in bed especially left side. but on other nights only goes under 60 when sleeping...does this mean i have bradycardia and of so how can i know if its serious?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bradycardia. : It's common to have a slow heart rate at night. A heart rate below 60 is not normal based on looking at the entire population. But for some heart rates from 40-60 is normal for them. Laying on the left side can cause pressure changes in the heart and lung which could cause changes in heart rate. The answer to your concerns is best answered by seeing your doctor in person
