What could be causing my daughters blood lead levels to go up?

Possible reasons: Her lead levels could increase if she eats soil contaminated with lead or if she has lead dust on her hands & puts them in her mouth. Eating paint chips that contain led or breathing in lead dust ( during home renovations) are other possibilities.
