A member asked:

I have a herniated disc at c6-c7. my anesthesiologist performed a interlaminar steroid inj. with dexamethasone. after the procedure, i noticed the injection spot and my bandage are in what appears to be the t3-t4 region. is this normal placement?

Interlaminar inject: An interlaminar epidural steroid injection places the medication in the epidural space. Since this is a free flowing connected space, the medication may be injected a little distant to the affected spot.
