Get screened: The only reported USA cases to date (2/5/20) are from those returning from recent visits to that area of China or the close intimate contacts (spouses) of known cases. You could contact your state health department for guidance if you think you are at risk. Many doctors' offices screen for the flu. Most don't screen for colds, since there are too many viruses involved.

Testing: Both FLU & COVID 19 can cause fever, congestion, cough, fatigue, body aches (& possibly nauseas, vomiting & diarrhea). Testing can help to distinguish the two. An interesting possible symptom of COVID 19 is loss of sense of taste/smell. Consider telemedicine evaluation with your provider if you are ill. Testing can determine if symptoms are due to COVID 19.
