Focus on nutrition: There is little if anything that medication can offer a kid that age with cold symptoms. There are many OTC meds promoted for this process, but studies in the US showed no benefit below the age of 6 & little to those older. The body can heal best with good nutritional support & rest. I focus on that for young kids.
