Please help! my baby is four days old and it appears that he has jaundice. how can i treat it and what should i look out for in general with the illness?

Depends on details: Many normal babies between the ages of 4 and 14 days have a bilirubin level up to 15 mg/dL (257 mmol/L). If the pediatrician is sure the baby is NORMAL, the natural changes in bilirubin should be ok.
