I think i am dealing with esophagitis since i can only sip water bit by bit and eat only little bites. i am taking nysyatin for an oral yeast infection. so i'm wondering are they one and the same.

Yeast infection: You may be right; oral yeast infection sometimes is accompanied by yeast esophagitis and you might have both. Both of these occur most often in people recently treated with antibiotics or who have immune defiiciency. Do you have HIV, for example? Recent chemotherapy or immune suppressing drugs?
