A member asked:

How much time has to pass for antibiotic treatment to start working? and if there is no improvement, do i have to change the antibiotic? it is about aerobic vaginitis.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Prescriber knows: Since we don't know what antibiotic was prescribed nor how it is being taken, don't know the background of the person taking it, don't know the duration or severity of the problem, and don't know what a person means by "aerobic vaginitis," there's no way to guess whether the treatment is effective for the condition nor how long that might take. However, the prescribing doctor knows the answer.
