I've been to a dermatologist who said it looks like i have a basal cell carcinoma on my face, just above my lip. should i get a second opinion to confirm what it is? can i go straight to a plastic surgeon for a 2nd opinion and have it removed?

Basal cell CA: Depends on your insurance and network. If the dermatologist is of the opinion that this is a basal cell it probably is. Excision is the way to go so seeing the surgeon is the best thing to do.
