About a month ago, i had a boil develop on my face. it was big and painful and has left a scar. ive noticed today that the area where it was is red meaning its coming back, is there anything i can do to stop it?

Boil: Wash the area with soap and water, pat dry and apply warm compresses and then apply antibacterial ointment like bacitracin. I also recommend swabbing the surrounding area of skin with isopropyl alcohol to destroy any staphyllococcal or other bacteria which may be colonizing your facial skin. If swelling or spreading redness occur, see a physician for treatment which may include oral antibiotics
