Uptake: Careful. Sceletium is a compound found in South Africa and is in the plant Kanna. Sceletium has dual properties of being a 5HT reuptake blocker and PDE4 inhibitor. According to an article in Neuropsychopharmacology Sceletium has been used as an adjunct with a SSRI inhibitor. Although like Saint Johns wart you should be cautious. Double check with your provider who is prescribing the SSRI.
