Sure, but...: Viral infections usually resolve on their own in a few days to a few weeks. Two months is a bit long, but sometimes a virus can stay around. More likely the issue is more than one viral infection, one after another, or something other than a viral infection. One's doctor can evaluate, and maybe swab the throat.
