Are there any home made remedies for vaginal thrush?

Baking powder+water: In my research, i discovered fungus grows in acid medium such as vgina.If i change the medium to alkaline, yeast/fungus can't thrive. Therefore i advice my patients to mix 1/2 teaspoon of baking powderin 1/2 cup of warm water and douche twice a day. If you are using antibiotics , it may promote the growth of fungus.
