A member asked:

Burning rash on back of leg near joint (near back of knee). it hurts to walk and hurts when i touch it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Exam needed: I recommend an examination by a physician or dermatologist. A blistering eruption would suggest herpes simplex or zoster(shingles). A nonraised burning red rash would indicate cellulitis which is a bacterial skin infection. Both of these require medical attention and treatment.
