Some basics: The cited average wait for a desired pregnancy in a normal ovulating woman is 6 mo with a range of weeks to a year. Use of depo contraceptive has been associated with a years delay in return to baseline fertility. I doubt anyone would try to medicate you to meet your deadline but you can discuss that with your doc. Most would allow your system to re-set naturally as it can within months.
