Do i need to get additional medication to stop me from producing milk if i do get the mirena contraceptive implant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mirena IUD ?'s: The Mirena IUD has progesterone analogs contained, but if nursing is simply stopped or diminished significantly in frequency, then stopped, there is no need to use medication to reduce lactation. The IUD will not prolong milk production.
