Took a morning after pill 3 weeks ago and i got my period 2 days ago; i am having menstrual bleeding with quite a few blood clots (bleeding is red). but i am also having lots of abdominal and pelvic pains. should i be concerned? anything to consider?

Time to see doctor: Taking a morning-after pill (such as Plan B) can alter the timing of the current menstrual cycle and the upcoming cycle. Menstrual bleeding or spotting should be back to normal, after 3-5 weeks or so. Having lots of abdominal and pelvic pain usually means one needs an evaluation in the ER (unless one's own doctor is readily available to evaluate the patient).
