Can miss placebos: Birth control pills are hormone pills that a woman takes to override her natural hormones and alter her monthly cycles so that pregnancy does not happen. The placebo pills (inactive pills) do not have hormones and therefore do not change her level of contraceptive protection if she misses them. If the 14th and 15th were placebo pills, taking no pills those days is the same as taking placebo pills.
