I am experiencing moderate to severe upper abdominal pain. i have a bulge as well above my naval. it started out as a burning sensation and then it felt like a strangling sensation. the pain worsens if i eat or touch the bulge?

Abd pain : Upper abdominal pain burning sounds like gastritis or an ulcer. Strangling pain sounds like a hernia affecting the intestinal flow from an abdominal hernia. Is it possible that your describing of "strangling" is the description you picked up after consulting, Dr. Google? Speak to your primary care doctor.
