Doctor can evaluate: One's doctor will have to get more of the story about the nipples, and do an exam (one can start with her primary care doctor). Nipple rashes can be from friction (from shirts, sports equipment like swimming in an inner tube, etc...), dry skin, eczema, allergies, hormonal changes, etc... Nipple eczema usually resolves with the same creams used for skin eczema in non-nipple locations.
