A member asked:

Undercooked/raw eggs are risky during pregnancy because of salmonella risk. but what about fried eggs where the yolk is left runny in the centre but warmed through?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Salmonella ?'s: Salmonella can be serious whether pregnant or not, but to avoid this kind of illness, thoroughly cook eggs so that the yolk of fried eggs is solid, not "runny".
