Bacterial vaginosis: BV results from suppression of certain normal vaginal bacteria and overgrowth of others. It's associaed with sex and in some cases behaves like an STD. The main symptoms are increased vaginal odor, typically perceived as "fishy" and gray-white discharge. Women with BV are especially likely to have other STDs as well, especially gonorrhea or chlamydia. Stop having sex immediately and see a doctor.
