I sprained my ankle with popped sound 2 years ago,home healed no hospital treatment just counter the pain with pain killer. my ankle now always painful to bend or move in some angle and weaker than my other ankle. is it too late to treat at hospital?

Ankle popping: Would go to an orthopedist and get and MRI to see what's going on in the ankle. if you go to the ER they may just do an xray which will not show ligaments and muscles and they will just refer you to orthopedist. Good luck
