Try looking online: Call around. Years ago, listings were available only in printed form. By the turn of the century, lists had become available online everywhere. Now, some lists are only online, and no longer printed. County medical societies (or other medical societies), hospitals, and insurance companies usually list doctors by name, insurance plans, and location. Look under Ob-Gyn or Obstetrics.

Not unusual: I can not guess what the normal pattern is in your country but here in the US many have the same story. Some don't realize they are pregnant (irregular cycles) or have a number of personal reasons they delay seeking care. I know of no OB's turning away patients just for being 5 mo along.
