A member asked:

I have found a lump in my breast and it has been there for 2 or 3 months now. what are the chances it's cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unknown: Most lumps that do not increase over time are not cancer. The longer they are present without change, the more likely they are benign and not cancerous. A good rule of thumb is doubling in size every 90 days. If any question that a lump might be cancerous, please see your physician!
