For evaluation and..: Eye twitching can be a possible sign before some migraine attack but it can also be due to Eye muscle fatigue among other causes. Tizanidine while a Spastic Muscle relaxer, should not be used for eye muscle twitching as such. If twitching continues or migraine becomes an issue one should see the Neurologist or the PCP for evaluation and appropriate management.

The Switch to Twitch: An eye twitch or blepharospasm, is a periodic contraction of the muscles around the orbit of the eye. These are often harmless, transient spasms not directly related to migraine, however in some individuals can be associated with other conditions. More commonly they are associated with prior trauma to the area as nerves regenerate or heal and electrolyte abnormalities with magnesium or calcium.
